Wedding Focus FAQ

What exactly is the Wedding Life Story Gift?

It’s a guided, ceremonial storytelling experience where couples speak their love story, values, and intentions into a beautifully held space. The sessions are recorded, professionally edited, and delivered as a cinematic audiovisual heirloom — something to revisit on anniversaries, share with future children, and treasure for decades.

Is this like a podcast or interview?

No. There are no microphones in your face, no performance energy, no pressure to be eloquent. It’s a warm, guided conversation designed to feel grounding, intimate, and emotionally safe. You simply show up and speak from the heart.

Do we need to prepare anything?

Nothing at all. You don’t need notes, stories, or a script. The facilitator gently guides you through a thoughtful question arc that naturally brings your story forward.

How long does the session take?

Most couple sessions last 30 – 45 minutes each, usually held individually. Family blessing sessions are 10–15 minutes each, held individually or in pairs.

Can family members participate?

Yes — especially in the Curated Family Collection and Heirloom Wedding Edition. The Curated tier includes up to 4 family blessing sessions, with additional sessions available for a small add‑on. The Heirloom tier includes up to 8.

Family members can be parents, grandparents, siblings, or chosen family — anyone you want preserved in your story.

What is the Wedding‑Day Reflection Capsule?

It’s a quiet, guided moment recorded on or around the wedding day — a breath, a grounding, a reflection. Couples often say it becomes one of the most meaningful parts of the entire celebration.

How is the final audiovisual delivered?

You receive your private recording via attachment or link to the downloadable file. It’s easy to save, easy to revisit, and easy to pass down. Optional physical keepsakes are available as add‑ons.

Can we include this as part of our wedding planning experience?

Absolutely. Many couples book this as an engagement gift, a planning‑kickoff ritual, or a grounding moment before the wedding. Planners can also integrate it directly into their packages through our partnership program.

What if we’re not comfortable being recorded?

That’s completely normal — and part of why the experience is so gentle. There are no cameras, no scripts, and no pressure – Just your phone in your environment with your favorite snack. Most couples forget they’re being recorded within minutes because the space feels warm, human, and deeply supportive.

Do you work with couples outside of Texas?

Yes — Spoken Legacy serves couples everywhere. Sessions are traditionally held virtually or in person, depending on location and package.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book 4–8 months before the wedding, but earlier is always better. Family blessing sessions and Heirloom packages benefit from a longer runway.

Can this be given as a gift?

Yes — it’s one of the most meaningful wedding gifts you can give. We offer giftable booking options and a beautiful digital gift card.

What makes Spoken Legacy different from videography or photography?

Photos show how the day looked. Video shows what happened that day. Spoken Legacy holds the legacy of the journey to get there. It captures the emotional truth of your story — your voices, your values, your beginnings — in a way no other medium can.

What if we’re not sure which package to choose?

We can help you select the right tier based on your family structure, your timeline, and the depth of story you want to preserve. Most couples choose the Curated Family Collection for its balance of intimacy and generational connection.
